I've always wanted to do things with my hands – it's way different than doing things with code. But woodworking, as simple as it sounds, requires some tools and more importantly knowledge how to use those tools in order to get started. I've delayed this moment like forever and I always got those excuses like
“I don't have enough money nor time!”
Not to mention that in order to do any woodworking you must have a place to do so. I've tried doing small projects at home, but after one serious conversation with my girlfriend I had to admit this is not working.
There are ton of doubts that can trap your way, but the first time I bought a specific woodworking power tool I found out it's all about starting – from there on everything is just a pleasant journey. Here I'll share how I started from the very begining, some of the things I had to deal with.
